The fitness trainer is the person that needs to understand what is necessary for you to do, if you are to meet your personal goals of fitness, specifically. Your health is the greatest asset you will possess for the rest of your life. Not everyone likes to train alone. Sometimes, it is helpful to have a friend with you, so you can cheer each other on. My training methods also offer you these types of
training choices, so that you can get exactly what you are looking for. We have a variety of group training options as well as private training options.

Self - Defense/Fighting Fitness
(WOMEN ONLY)
A workout option that has been designed with high intensity fitness movements, and cardiopulmonary requirements - by applying the skills learned in a simple yet very effective self-defense program taught individually and separately from the workout portion by INDY FITNESS CAMP.
The station based concept of this class will have you hitting heavy bags with punches and kicks, utilizing kettle bells, jump ropes, body weight and control postures, and a whole host of other fight specific protocols and exercises. We also want to cause some muscles memory action to take place in your minds learning to practically use the self-defense skills we teach, by instinct rather than confusion. Some key points of understanding prior to beginning this workout insuring a maximum desired result is achieved for you are as listed as follows:
- Function follows form – As with all programs, by using good form in the stations that are set up for you in class, you will gain the most from this workout in the safest manner enabling you to protect your body.
- Learn to channel your energy and focus on a specific target when doing the blocking or striking portions
of the drills – If you allow energy to come all the way through your body, it will give you a much stronger power to control. Power generation is something we will instruct you on
accordingly.
- Your mind is your strongest ally – if we can perform properly while tired then we can outlast and overcome any obstacles in our life.
- Have fun and stay loose at all times!
- Remember to breathe! good oxygen supply to your muscles is a definite necessity for this workout.
- Warm up and cool down sessions of the workout are especially important to maintain vital health.
- We want you to push yourself to your limit safely, if you feel you have hit the limit, take a break and allow your heart rate to slowly decrease by limiting the intensity of your movements. This will in time allow you to gain the most from your fitness improvements and extend your limitations.
If at any time you have a question please feel free to ask it so an instructor
may go over your question with you. We want you to have a good understanding of the answer and how it may apply to you specifically. During the workout, please just try to stay focused on your form
and internal energy. You should always skip an exercise or station until you fully understand the proper form and reasoning behind the execution of the drill. We of course want you to maximize your
workout too, so we would encourage you to jump rope, do jumping jacks, or even march in place until that station time is completed. The instructor will not always be able to come to your individual
station immediately during the group sessions. We will stop to explain things to you as soon as possible to do so, or will speak to you individually after the session for any specific questions or
understandings you need clarified.
Youth - Speed/Agility - Power Generation class
In the competitive world of sports today, an athlete MUST possess the conditioning required of them to make their team better. All GREAT athletes know that in order to become GREAT they must reach personal peak levels of physical fitness. The student athlete needs to condition their body to perform at a higher level for a specific duration and with the intensity from a high-speed functionality perspective, if they wish to play at the competition level desired to enhance their ability allowing them to achieve the victory they seek.
